Overview
General Motors is going to replace Chevrolet UVA hatchback by launching Chevrolet SAIL UVA on October 25, 2012. This car will come under premium hatchback segment where other players such as Ford Figo, Hyundai i20, Maruti Swift, Volkswagen Polo among others are ruling the road. You might be aware that this car is well received in Chinese market.

What to look for:
SAIL is a spacious hatchback having good ride quality, adequate ground clearance and decent fuel economy. Chevrolet could have improved the plastic quality, exterior and interior styling. If positioned and marketed correctly, SAIL could pose a serious threat to the segment leader - Maruti Swift.

It has been long time Chevrolet has updated UVA and this the right time to do so.

ReplyDeleteI think Chevrolet strictly needs a ace player at this time to compete in the Indian hatchback market which is flooding with new cars of almost every automotive company.Sail got many advantages as its a sub 4 meter car with spacious and stylish interior and modish exterior.
