Tata Nano Diesel

Tata Nano Diesel, the much awaited car from Tata Stable has lots of unique features to show. Though Tata Motors is tight lipped regarding the launch date, it is expected to be on roads by early 2014 .

Engine and Mileage:
It will have 800cc Dicor engine, probably will be the smallest diesel in World. The expected mileage would be 40Kmpl and with price about 20% more than its existing petrol version. When this becomes a reality, Maruti and Hyundai may have to face tough times ahead!

Pre Launch Review:

The price, mileage and maintenance cost are the reasons that anyone look for Tata Nano and it will be less compared to other diesel hatchback in India. So its Economical for Sure!
But Tata Motors should give a serious thought to engine refinement and quality issues that we normally see in Tata Cars. As Tata has solved most of its issues with Nano 2012 launch (in addition to adding more features), we can expect a better car for its Diesel avatar.
So will the Nano Diesel be the next Big Small Wonder that every Indian awaits?
